Community Center Offers Multiple Fitness Classes
The Monticello Community Center offers a number of fitness classes. Reservations are required and can be made 72-12 hours prior to class start. Do not come to class if you are not feeling well.

Keep Active!
The Monticello Community Center can help you stay active this winter! Your Medicare supplement may cover the cost of a membership at MCC. MCC Members can take advantage of fitness classes including Water Aerobics and SilverSneakers Classes.
Members also have access to our pool, spas, indoor track, gymnasium, and a variety of cardio and strength equipment. If you have questions, contact program manager, Sara Cahill, at 763-271-7124.
Silver Sneakers Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.
Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Silver Sneakers Circuit
Higher intensity, high energy cardio and toning. Get ready to find the balance between strength, cardio, and flexibility!
These workouts will have you working all the muscle groups. Every week is different. This class is high energy and FUN!
Chair Yoga
Gentle yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.
Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement.
Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction.
Vinyasa Yoga
Yoga poses and breathing at a slower gentler pace.
This class will combine physical movements with breath to increase strength and flexibility, balance, reduce stress, and enhance focus.
Vinyasa flows at a faster pace.
